Born Shubham Nayyar in Canada, Shubz grew up being inspired by his favorite artists
Akon and 50 Cent. As he studied the versatility of Akon within music, he wanted to create his
own unique style that complements his versatile vocal capabilities. Shubz is an emerging artist
who makes music that embodies his hopes and dreams. For the talented musician, music is an
art that is reflective of his experiences, aiming to deliver a musical experience that is 
unique, engaging, and relatable.

"I've always envisioned my sound to be a modern version of Akon just like Pop Smoke
was to 50 Cent. I started writing music during high school and finally decided to record my first
record after graduating in 2016."

Shubz returns with his latest project PRETEND which aims to remind listeners about their
true purpose in life. This project is unlike any of his other previous releases and is truly an overall
work of art.

Within less than six months of their releases, his recent singles Don’t Let Me Go and Deep
Ends have surpassed over 100K streams each on Spotify. Shubz has received recognition from
